    Day 1 : Arrive Chandigarh - Shimla – Narkanda

    Meet on arrival at Chandigarh Airport/ station. Pick up and transfer to Narkanda via Shimla. Shimla was the former summer capital of British India and now is the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Continue onwards towards Narkanda which is a small town in Himalayas offering some majestic views around. Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure and overnight at hotel.

    Day 2 : Narkanda – Rampur – Kalpa

    Travel by surface from Narkanda to Kalpa via Rampur. Kalpa is a beautiful village from where one can on look the changing colors of Mt. Kinner Kailash. On reaching check in at your hotel and later after rest and relaxation, visit the local Hu-Bu-Lan-Kar monastery. This monastery was founded by Rinchensang-po ( 950-1055 AD). Village is surrounded by apple trees and at one side the view of snow peaks makes this village the main attraction. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

    Day 3 : Kalpa – Nako – Tabo

    After breakfast, head on for Tabo enroute visiting Nako The main attraction of this small village is a lake, which, in winters converts into a sheet of ice. The Nako Monastery stands at the western edge of the village and has four important temples amongst other structure. Out of these, the Main Temple (Translator's Temple) and the Upper Temple are more important. Later continue towards Tabo. On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon proceed to visit Tabo monastery. Perched at an altitude of 3050 meters, Tabo Monastery is often referred to as the 'Ajanta of the Himalayas'. The 10th century Monastery was founded by the great scholar, Richen Zangpo, and has been declared as the World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The monastery houses the rare collection of scriptures, pieces of art, wall paintings -Tankhas and Stucco. This monastery rose to prominence when it celebrated its thousandth year of existence in 1996. The ancient gompa is finished with mud plaster, and contains several scriptures and documents. Stay overnight at hotel.

    Day 4 : Tabo Dhankar – Pin valley – Kaza

    This day continue the drive to the inner Himalayas along the barren territories of Spiti Valley.  After breakfast proceed to Dhankar. Also known as Dankhar, Drangkhar or Dhangkar Gompa is village and also a Gompa. It is situated at an elevation of 3,894 metres (12,774 feet) above Dhankar Village. The complex is built on a 1000-foot (300-metre) high spur overlooking the confluence of the Spiti and Pin Rivers - one of the world's most spectacular settings for a gompa. Dhankar was the traditional capital of the Spiti Valley Kingdom during the 17th century. It was the seat of the early rulers of Spiti, the Nonos. From here continue towards Pin Valley. Pin Valley was declared a National Park in 1987 and is spread over an area of approx 9700 sq km. It is located in the cold desert region of the Spiti valley. With its snow laden unexplored higher reaches and slopes, the Park forms a natural habitat for a number of endangered animals including the Woolly Hare, Tibetan Gazelle, Snow Leopard and Siberian Ibex. Vist Kungri monastery here. Kungri Monastery is a Buddhist monastery of the Nyingma sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Kungri is Spiti's second oldest monastery, built around 1330. The gompa consists of three detached rectangular blocks facing east. It is noted for its sword dance by the buzhens of Mud village on the right bank of the Pin River. From here, Continue your drive to Kaza. On arrival, check-in and overnight at hotel.

    Day 5 : In Kaza (full day)

    After breakfast go for an excursion to Ki Gompa and later Kibber village at an altitude of 4205 mts which is the highest permanently inhabited village of the region.  Key Monastery in Spiti is the main research center of the Buddhists in India. Near about 300 lamas are receiving their religious training from here. It houses the rare painting and beautiful scriptures of Buddha and other gods and goddess. One can also find rare 'Thangka' paintings and ancient musical instruments 'trumpets, cymbals, and drums in the monastery. Post lunch visit Langza,  Hikkim (Tangyud) and Komic villages which are some of the highest villages of the world. Visit The Tangyud Monastery or Sa-skya-gong-mig Gompa at the village of Komic. It is built like a fortified castle on the edge of a deep canyon, with massive slanted mud walls and battlements with vertical red ochre and white vertical stripes which make them look much taller than they really are. It is one of the highest altitude (monasteries) in India, at an altitude of 4,520 metres. It is located on the periphery of the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary. Evening return back to Kaza. Overnight in hotel.

    Day 6 : Kaza – Kunzum pass – Keylong

    After breakfast proceed from Kaza to Manali. The route takes a traveler over Kunzum pass. Kunzum Pass, at the height of 4,590 m is a high mountain pass on the eastern Kunzum Range of the Himalayas which connects the Lahaul Valley with the Spiti Valley.  Evening arrive Keylong and check-in at hotel. Keylong is located along the Manali-Leh Highway, about 7 km north-east of intersection of the Chandra Valley, the Bhaga Valley, and the Chenab Valley; on the banks of Bhaga River. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 7 : In keylong

    Today visit kardang monastery, the largest and most important monastery in Lahaul, of the Drukpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism. This Monastery is located at an elevation of 3,500 m across the river, about 8 km from Keylong. Kardang is well connected by the road via the Tandi bridge which is about 14 km from Keylong. Built in the 12th century, this monastery houses a large library of Buddhist literature including the main Kangyur and Tangyur scriptures. Afternoon return back to Keylong. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 8 : Keylong – Rohtang pass – Manali

    After breakfast, proceed to Manali via Rohtang pass. Rohtang pass. Located at the elevation of approx 3,978 m its a high mountain pass on the eastern Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas. The pass provides a natural divide between the humid Kullu Valley with a primarily Hindu culture (in the south), and the arid high-altitude Lahaul and Spiti valleys with a Buddhist culture (in the north). Afterwards proceed to Manali. Manali a picture-perfect hill resort at an altitude of 1,929 meters situated near the end of the valley on the National Highway leading to Leh. One sees well-defined snow capped peaks, the Beas River with its clear water meanders through the town. Evening at leisure and overnight at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

    Manali To Chandigarh Departure Early morning after breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Chandigarh airport / Railway station.
